INFO:
A volcano just 20 miles from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, has erupted for the first time in 6,000 years. The Fagradals Mountain volcano lies in a remote valley on a peninsula jutting into the Atlantic Ocean. Iceland’s emergency authorities say there’s no need to evacuate people at this point as lava flows are small.
