It was 41 years ago today, February 15, that the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy was arrested in Pensacola. Bundy had escaped police custody multiple times over several years before traveling across the country to Florida. Brutally raping and murdering young women in the process. That killing spree final came to an end in Pensacola in 1978 when Bundy was pulled over for an expired tag on a vehicle he stole. Bundy was eventually executed in 1989 by electric chair.
