SILVERTON, Ore. – A driver died Sunday night in a crash along Highway 214 south of Silverton, Oregon State Police said. The crash was reported just before 11 p. m. along the highway near milepost 37. Investigators said Billy Gostevskyh, 42, of Silverton was heading south on the highway in a Mercedes CLS when he went off the roadway and struck a tree. Gostevskyh was pronounced dead at the scene. No initial word on what causedGostevskyh to drive off the road.
