A Washington County man has been sentenced to more than 16 years in prison on sex abuse charges. On June 18, Marco Xiap-Jelkes pleaded guilty to first-degree forcible rape, first-degree forcible sodomy, second-degree rape and second-degree sexual abuse. Hillsboro Police said that the attack took place in April 2018. Xiap-Jelkes was 19-years-old at the time and authorities say two victims were underage.
