BALTIMORE (WBFF) - City Hall is bracing for another showdown over the city’s controversial “spy plane” program. Since April, airplanes equipped with wide area surveillance cameras have been hovering over the city tracking suspects and helping solve serious crimes. Statistics released by city police show, in the first three months of the planes pilot program, the planes have assisted with clearing six homicides, six shootings, four armed robberies, and one carjacking.
